My name is Douglas and I own a small restaurant in a little suburb immediately outside Sydney. My cafe opens from 4pm to 10pm, 6 nights a week and for this kind of working hours I do fairly well. I am also the chef and I employ 2 waitresses an evening to help me. The waitresses usually are university students who are searching for extra income, mostly Asians college students and many of them are quite friendly. Five months back a student from Thailand, Nina, started doing work for me. She had completed her degree four months ago majoring in English and now waiting for her fiancée to accomplish his before they both return.
